The Objectives of the Life Group Ministry
For the Life Groups to be successful, you must have a clear understanding as to what the purpose for the Life Groups is. These are not Bible studies, prayer groups, discipleship groups, or mission groups even though all of these things happen. They are intended to be a community of believers who share the life of Jesus through His Spirit together.
The overall goal of the Life Groups is to create genuine spiritual fellowship.
Our desire is to develop a caring community of believers by which we can
individually and corporately fulfill God's destiny for our lives.
The objectives of the Life Group are four-fold:
1. MINISTRY: This means that people's needs are met!
2. MISSION: This means the unsaved and unchurched are reached.
3. MATURITY: This means participants becoming more like Christ.
Biblical application
Mutual accountability
Modeling - Christianity show and tell
4. MULTIPLICATION: This means that leaders are being raised up and people are being added to the group.
Spiritual gifts discoved
Ministry skills are developed
Motivation to minister is born
